Getting Started

Enrollment flow and what’s required before prescribing.

How does Luxe Med work?

Complete your intake + required consents online. A licensed provider reviews your medical history, medications, and safety requirements. If clinically appropriate, we create your plan and send prescriptions to a licensed pharmacy.

Who can become a patient?

Adult patients located in states where our providers are licensed may qualify. Services are non-emergency and based on medical appropriateness.

Is medication guaranteed?

No. Medication is prescribed only if clinically appropriate after provider review. If something isn’t safe, we’ll discuss alternatives or next steps for clearance.

Telehealth

How visits work and what you may need locally.

How do telehealth visits work?

Care is provided remotely through secure communication. You’ll receive instructions for your visit type and how to prepare.

Do I need to come into an office?

Most care is telehealth. Some patients may need vitals, labs, or an EKG obtained locally prior to medical clearance.

Clearance & Safety

Why we require screening and monitoring.

Why do I need medical clearance?

Clearance ensures treatment is safe and appropriate. Providers review history, medications, contraindications, and baseline markers before prescribing.

When is an EKG required?

An EKG may be required based on your history, symptoms, vitals, age, or medication choice—especially medications that can affect heart rate or blood pressure.

Weight Loss

Options and expectations.

What treatments do you offer?

Treatment is individualized and may include GLP-1 based medications, oral weight loss medications, and lifestyle guidance depending on eligibility.

What’s different about phentermine monitoring?

Phentermine is a controlled substance and requires structured monitoring (baseline vitals and periodic check-ins) to keep care safe and appropriate.

Meds & Pharmacy

Dispensing, shipping, and compounding.

How do I receive my medication?

If prescribed, medication is sent to a licensed pharmacy for dispensing. Processing and shipping timelines vary.

Are compounded medications FDA-approved?

Compounded medications are prepared by licensed pharmacies and permitted under federal law, but they are not FDA-approved branded products.

Billing

Concierge pricing and payment timing.

Do you accept insurance?

No. Luxe Med is concierge (cash-pay) to keep pricing transparent and care direct.

When am I charged?

Charges occur at the time of service/enrollment based on your selected service and clinical pathway after provider review.

Follow-Ups

Messaging and refill expectations.

Can I message between visits?

Yes—non-urgent messages are welcome. For the fastest help, include your full name, medication/dose, and your question in one message.

When should I request a refill?

Request refills early enough to account for provider review and pharmacy processing time.

Privacy

HIPAA-aligned practices.

Is my information secure?

We use secure systems and follow HIPAA-aligned privacy practices designed to protect your personal and medical information.
